(Hopefully) good sports essays and observations for good sports by a guy who tries (and can sometimes fail) to be a good sport.

Not much to tell.

The Phillies Still Need a Signature Song

They don't have the races of the sausages or the Presidents, and they don't have "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" or "Sweet Caroline." To enhance an already great atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park, they should have a "fire us up" song that gets everyone further pumped. And, now, they should totally forget all references to that awful "Whoot There it Is" that the fans adopted in 1993 to cheer on the misanthropes whom good fortune befell in an improbable magical year.

What do you suggest?
