The Loud Noise You Hear Is . . .

The buzz for Adrian McPherson.

According to this article in CNNSI, he's moved himself into the second round.

I've blogged about him here, and I'll reiterate my view that he's worthy of a second chance.

And what better way to kick off that second chance than to be a second round draft choice (as he's now projected to be the fourth QB taken in the draft).

Unless, of course, the buzz picks up its pace, and McPherson lands in the first round.

Which is where most projected him to go when he entered Florida State several years ago.

And which is where, given that the draft is several weeks away, he might end up.

His journey has been a lot different from those of the other QBs in the draft. His has taken a few detours, but it now appears that Adrian McPherson is back on track. It also seems like the detours won't prove to be future temptations, but rather lessons learned about the level of effort and commitment it takes to be an outstanding player.
